The Role

We are recruiting for a qualified Gas Engineer to join one of our clients working across a range of domestic and/or commercial heating and gas projects.

The role will involve servicing, maintenance, fault finding, repairs and installation work, depending on the client and level of experience required.

This is a good opportunity for someone who is confident working independently, takes pride in their work and wants to continue developing within the gas and heating industry.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repair of gas appliances and heating systems

• Diagnose and resolve faults

• Complete installation and remedial works

• Carry out safety checks and ensure compliance with current regulations

• Complete relevant paperwork and job documentation

• Work professionally with customers, site teams and other trades

• Maintain a high standard of workmanship

What We’re Looking For

• Relevant gas qualifications

• Current Gas Safe registration / ACS qualifications

• Good practical gas and heating knowledge

• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills

• Reliable, punctual and professional

• Able to work independently and as part of a team

• Full UK driving licence preferred

• Additional qualifications such as Unvented Hot Water, HIU or commercial gas tickets advantageous depending on the role
